Should You Receive or Transmit Energy If You’re Sick?

🚫 Transmitting While Sick is a No-Go


If you’re a facilitator, transmitting energy while sick isn’t just about you—it’s about those receiving your transmission. So much of this work is about being a clear channel, and if you’re unwell, your energy is already compromised.


✔️ Your duty of care comes first. Holding space means being physically, emotionally, and energetically well enoughto do so.

✔️ Energy moves through you before it moves to others. If you’re sick, you risk passing on distorted, ungrounded, or heavy energy instead of a clean transmission.

✔️ Your body needs its energy for healing. Facilitating while sick drains you further and can slow your recovery.


🌀 Receiving Energy While Sick: It Depends


Not all energy work affects the body in the same way.


✔️ Reiki & Gentle Healing – Can be restorative and help your body recover.

Kundalini Activation & High-Energy Work – Moves a lot of energy and requires a strong system to process it. If you’re too unwell for light exercise, it’s best to wait.


✔️ Mild symptoms? Energy work may be supportive—just allow space to rest.

Fever, severe symptoms, or exhaustion? Your body is already doing deep healing. Adding energy shifts can overload your system instead of helping.


🌿 Listen to Your Body & Respect the Energy


Energy work should be supportive, not depleting. If receiving or facilitating feels like too much, honor that. Sometimes, the best thing you can do is step back, rest, and let your body heal.
