When Your Truth Feels Too “Out There”

When Your Truth Feels Too “Out There”

There comes a point on the path when your truth begins to stretch beyond what most people consider normal.

It can happen quietly at first. Words like “energy” or “intuition” slip into conversation and are met with side-eyes or polite nods. Practices that feel deeply sacred—like pulling cards, channelling messages, or working with subtle fields—become things to hide or downplay in certain company.

And for many, that’s where the internal split begins.

Not because the work isn’t true. Not because the insights aren’t real. But because the world isn’t always ready to receive them.

It can be deeply confronting to hold a truth that doesn’t fit into conventional frameworks. Especially in a society that places logic above lived experience, data above intuition, and productivity above presence. The path of energy work, mysticism, or spiritual remembrance doesn’t come with job titles or neat little bios. It doesn’t always translate into something you can easily explain.

So it becomes tempting to soften the language. To use words like “wellness” or “self-empowerment” as stand-ins. To stay just spiritual enough to be acceptable, but not so far out that it makes people uncomfortable.

But over time, this kind of self-editing becomes a weight.

There is a difference between discernment and dilution. Between choosing your words wisely, and losing the truth of them altogether.

And eventually, something inside begins to ache—not for louder expression, but for honest presence.

Because the deeper invitation isn’t to make your truth acceptable to others. It’s to stand in it anyway.

To hold your frequency without folding. To trust the unseen, even when others can’t feel it.

To speak the language of soul, knowing it was never meant to be universally understood.

Truth that’s ahead of its time often sounds like nonsense to those still living in the paradigm it’s here to dismantle.

But that doesn’t make it less real.

If the world hasn’t caught up to your knowing—don’t shrink it. Let it lead. Let it shape the spaces you’re part of. Let it call in the ones who’ve been waiting for someone like you to speak.

You’re not too much.

You’re not making it up.

You’re just living in a frequency that hasn’t been fully named yet.

And one day soon, what once felt “too out there” will become the new centre.

Keep going. Your truth is the compass. Not the problem
